A transfer changes where goods are stored within one organization. Sending is not receipt: the goods' office changes after the recipient accepts them. A sale to another organization uses a separate B2B set.
Prepare the contents
- Open “Products → Product catalog” and select items from one office. Check numbers, names and physical availability. You need access to the sending office and permission to create transfers; sending requires a separate permission.
- Choose “Add to move” in the row menu or bulk actions. The sending office comes from the selected goods. The recipient must be another active office of the same organization; you do not need access to that office to send goods.
- Choose a new transfer, select the recipient office and add a comment if needed. If an open transfer already exists for these offices, add to it instead of creating a second one.
- Read why any items are unavailable. Goods cannot belong to another unfinished transfer, including a rejected one. Adding goods already changes their state to “On the move”, although the shipment is still “Open”.
Check and send
- Open the transfer from the notification or “Products → Movements”. Check the number, both offices, quantity and the “Goods” tab. The sender can remove incorrect items from an open transfer; their previous state is restored.
- Check the entire contents before sending. The tab currently shows at most 15 items with no navigation to further pages. If the total exceeds the visible list, the check is incomplete: report the transfer number and discrepancy to the responsible person.
- Use “Printing the invoice” to print and check the waybill if needed. Printing before receipt is possible and does not prove physical delivery.
- Click “Send”, hand over the goods through your agreed process and check the “On the way” status. Recipients with the required access receive an acceptance task. Goods are still recorded at the sending office.
Cancel or send again
The sender can cancel an “Open” or “Rejected” transfer. The record remains and the goods' previous states are restored. Cancellation is unavailable while “On the way”; establish the goods' physical location and agree on the next action first.
If a transfer is already “Rejected”, the sender checks the reason, removes unnecessary items and clears shortage marks as needed. New items cannot be added to a rejected transfer. “Send again” sends the remaining contents and creates a new cycle of recipient tasks. Check the saved marks: sending again does not clear them automatically.
When transferring scrap
In the available scrap section, use the transfer action for selected items. The receiving office comes from the queue or scrap set and cannot be freely changed. Only items with the same sender and receiver can travel together; do not mix ordinary goods and scrap in one selection. The transfer keeps the set link or queue flag, and receipt restores the scrap state. Scrap sale and GIIS exchange are separate actions.
Check after an error
Refresh the card and check the status and contents before retrying. A shipment already “On the way” does not need to be sent again. For investigation, keep the transfer number, offices, product numbers and error message.
