Open “Products → Catalog”. The catalog and product details show products in offices you can access. Viewing and editing require separate permissions: seeing a product does not mean you can change all its data.
Find the right product
- Enter a name or part of it in “Search”. If you know the product number, use the “Product ID” filter: it matches the exact number in the ID column. The product number and linked contract number are different values.
- If needed, select an office, category and condition. Filters apply together, so a previously selected office or condition may hide the item. Clear unnecessary filters and search again if nothing is found.
- “Contract organization” selects products by the organization of the linked contract. Products without a contract are excluded. Use “Office” to search by storage location.
- Click the product name or choose viewing from the row's ⋮ menu. Check its ID, name, category, office, condition, counterparty and contract number to make sure it is the right item.
The global quick search can also find a product by name or number. It shows a limited set of results; use the catalog to refine your search. Changing your workspace neither transfers a product nor grants access to another office.
Read product details
| Section | What to check |
|---|---|
| Basic information | Photos, office, contract and counterparty, amounts, prices and price confirmation, characteristics, condition and contents. Archived characteristics, when present, appear separately. |
| Files | Attached photos and documents. You can view and download them here; upload and deletion take place on the edit page. |
| Operations and Payments | Linked actions and recorded payments. An operation appearing in the list does not prove it is complete or that money was actually paid. |
| Transfers | Transfers between offices and their acceptance results. |
| Status history and Change history | Condition transitions and saved edits with dates and employees. These are separate logs; editing text is neither a sale nor a transfer. |
A product received from another organization through B2B has an additional “Previous organization” tab showing its origin. The condition and contents description records defects and what was received; it does not replace the separate “Price tag description”.
Understand which details can be changed
Click “Edit” in product details or the row menu. Unavailable fields are disabled, with a reason. Availability depends on your permissions and on both the product and linked contract states.
| Situation | Ordinary changes allowed with the required permissions |
|---|---|
| A product in a prepared contract, before processing | Basic details, category, brand and model, electronics identifier, condition and contents, amounts, prices, characteristics and files. |
| Collateral or a product in an active commission contract | Files; an administrator can edit characteristics. The recorded amount, category, condition and contents remain protected. |
| A product from a completed purchase | Files and characteristics with separate permission to edit them. This does not process the purchase again. |
| A product in store with a contract in the selling stage | Minimum sale amount, selling price, price tag name and description; files require permission to edit the product. |
| A store product created by a completed sale return | Minimum sale amount, selling price and files with the corresponding permissions. The return does not make all intake characteristics editable. |
Separate name editing permission allows changes to the name and its automatic or manual mode even when other fields are protected. It does not unlock amounts, characteristics or files. Without that permission, a sold, transferred, reserved, returned, written-off, seized or scrap product is usually available for viewing only. Ordinary fields and files are also protected for an overdue or cancelled contract.
An unfinished product, sale or linked contract operation temporarily blocks the form and file changes, including otherwise allowed name editing. First check the current operation and complete or cancel it through the intended process. Do not change product condition to bypass the block. External links are saved through the separate action below.
Jewelry marking follows separate rules before final GIIS DMDK confirmation. Manually selecting a marking state does not replace UIN scanning and confirmation.
Save the available fields
- Edit only active fields. Characteristics depend on the category: fill in required values and select valid dependent options. Enter fractional characteristics with at most two decimal places.
- For an automatic name, use the category, brand, model and characteristic data; for your own text, select manual mode if available. Recheck characteristics after changing the category in a prepared contract.
- Click “Save”. If an error appears, check the marked fields and current operation. State and permissions are checked again on save, so a form opened earlier can become unavailable.
- After returning to the catalog, contract or product details, check the saved values. Form fields are saved together; an unfinished file upload is a separate result.
Changing the minimum or selling price removes price confirmation. A new confirmation is required before selling. Editing product details does not itself sell or transfer the item, or update already generated operation documents.
Add a photo or file
- Go to “Files” on the edit page. Choose files, drag them into the upload area or take a photo using an available camera.
- Wait for upload completion and for the file to appear in the attachment list. Selecting a file starts uploading automatically. This form supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, JPEG, JFIF and PNG; the interface limits one upload to ten files of up to 10 MB each. The configured storage may enforce a stricter limit on the server.
- Open the image or download the document to check it is correct. To replace it, upload the new file and delete the unwanted one using its delete button. Reopen product details and check “Files” and the photos in basic information.
Files on an existing product are attached and deleted immediately through separate actions. “Cancel” on the main form does not reverse a successful upload or deletion. If a file does not appear, or remains after deletion, reopen product details and check the actual list before taking another action.
Save advertisement links
- Find “Links” under basic information and click “Edit links”. The catalog can open links; editing is opened from product details.
- Add the type “Avito”, “Youla” or “Other” and a full address beginning with
http://orhttps://. Several links of the same type are allowed, up to 20 links of 2048 characters each. Duplicate addresses are rejected; the platform type labels the link rather than validating its domain. - Edit or remove the relevant rows and save the list. To remove all links, clear the list and save it empty. If an error appears, correct the addresses and save again.
This editor requires product editing permission and access to the product. Links can be changed regardless of the product's condition or a blocked main form. Saving a URL does not publish an advertisement, upload photos to a platform or synchronize its price or stock.
If the action you need is unavailable
- If the product is not found, check its ID, filters, access to its actual office and that it belongs to the right account. A direct URL cannot open another account's product.
- If “Edit” is missing, no changes are allowed for your permissions and the current state. Ask the responsible employee to check the specific field or action.
- If an operation disables the button, check that operation's result; do not start another sale or change condition manually.
- If intake details cannot be corrected, the ordinary form protects them after processing. Name, store price and external link edits have their own limits and do not unlock other data.
- To add an item, create the ordinary product while preparing a contract or in its product list before processing. There is no standalone ordinary product creation button in the catalog.
