“Change status” in the product card lets you write off goods, assign equipment to an employee for use, or restore written-off or seized goods. Product-status permission and access to the product are required.

Check the conditions

  1. Select the working office, open the item in “Products → Product catalog” and check its number, physical goods, current status and linked transaction.
  2. Check that there is no unfinished operation, active transfer or B2B draft. Agree on the reason with the person responsible for the goods.
  3. Click “Change status” and choose an available reason.
Action When available Outcome
Write-off Goods in store, pawn, purchase, commission or use. Written off.
Assign for use Equipment owned by a sole proprietor, in store, pawn or purchase. In use, with an assigned employee.
Restoration Written-off or seized goods whose linked transaction is in store. In the store; “On display” if price approval is retained.
Restoration Written-off or seized goods whose transaction is in its main or grace period, or ready for sale. Pledged.

Assignment checks the organization that owns the product. Jewelry, other categories and goods belonging to a legal entity cannot be assigned for use. Sold goods, scrap, goods in transfer or reserved for B2B cannot be changed through this action.

Assign equipment to an employee

  1. Choose “Assign for use” and check “New status”: “In use”.
  2. In the required “Assigned to” field, select a system employee. Active employees with access to the product’s organization are available. If someone is missing, check their active status and organization access.
  3. Optionally add a comment of up to 1,000 characters. Click “Change status” and wait for successful saving.
  4. On the “Main” tab, check “Assigned to” and “Usage history”: employee, assignment date and assigning employee. Completed periods retain their end date and the employee who ended them.

Reassigning the product or changing its recipient while it is in use is unavailable. Writing off the product ends its current usage period and preserves the history.

Write off or restore goods

  1. Choose “Write-off” or the offered “Return to status …”. For restoration, the linked transaction determines the state; another cannot be chosen.
  2. Check “New status”. Write-off requires a meaningful comment of up to 1,000 characters; a restoration comment is optional.
  3. Click “Change status”. After saving, check the badge and “Status history”: previous and new states, reason, comment and author.

Write-off and assignment allow goods without a transaction when their initial state permits. Restoration requires a transaction and is refused if one is missing or in another state.

Changing status saves history without changing the transaction, debt, payments or product office, or creating handover documents or a bank refund. After an error or unknown result, check the saved state before retrying. “Seizure” and manual “Return to customer” are unavailable in the reasons list. Use the relevant redemption, sale return or transfer process for customer handover, and check the physical handover and settlement separately.
