In PEP mode, an employee signs the prepared cash package before the cash register physically closes. The employee signature, device closing and subsequent controller signature are three separate results.

Before closing

Use your own account. Select the shift's workplace and check the displayed cash register. Preparation requires an active account, responsible signing permission and ownership of the shift. Review amounts, receipts, deposits, withdrawals and transfers, and complete required signatures on named PKO/RKO orders. Do not begin closing while an earlier cash command's result is unknown.

Sign a new open shift

  1. In the dashboard cash register widget, click “Close shift” and confirm. If “Shift is not ready to close” opens, investigate the listed causes and try closing after checking them.
  2. Wait for the cash package and “Cash shift signing” window. The package saves documents as one version; preparation blocks new cash operations and receipts. The code window confirms signing and does not preview the entire package.
  3. Select your personal or work phone and available Telegram, SMS or MAX. For MAX, first confirm your own contact using the bot's contact button as instructed in the form. Request and enter the code before the displayed expiry.
  4. After successful confirmation, wait for the device close command and the result to be saved in the application. Check that the shift is closed. Only then are controller tasks created.

If you need to continue working before confirming the code, close the window: the application cancels the unsigned preparation. Wait for successful cancellation and refreshed data. This cancellation is unavailable after signing.

If the code or closing fails

A wrong or expired code does not sign the package. Check the chosen phone and channel; request another code when the form allows resending. Confirm the latest sent code. Named PKO/RKO orders have their own Telegram or SMS signature, which is not replaced by the whole package's code.

If the signature is saved but the device did not close or the result was not saved, use “Retry KKM close” after checking the error. The application continues with the saved command, without a new code or rebuilt package. “Waiting for controller” alone does not prove physical closing: verify the shift state separately.

Sign an older closed shift

If a previously closed shift already has a package “Waiting for employee”, open it from a task or “Accounting” → “Cashier shifts”. Under “Cash package PEP”, click “Sign as employee”. Before the late signing deadline, the responsible shift employee signs. After it, an authorized office employee with the same permission may sign after uploading a PDF, DOC or DOCX explanation before requesting the code.

A signed version cannot be edited normally. Investigate an error through the separate correction process, retaining the previous documents and signatures.
