This guide is for the administrator who prepares the form for accepted property. Properties define category fields, the name template defines name parts, and appraisal percentages calculate a value from the payout amount. These settings apply across the account, rather than only the selected office.

Open settings

  1. Select your working office and open Extensions.
  2. Find Products and click Configure.
  3. Open Product properties, Name template or Valuation percentages.

Opening product settings and viewing the template or percentages requires permission to view product settings; saving requires editing permission. Viewing and managing properties requires separate permissions. If a button is missing or access is read-only, check with the administrator responsible for permissions.

Determine which property you can change

Scope Available actions
System Viewing only. The definition cannot be changed, archived or disabled.
Catalog The shared definition stays unchanged. You can configure permitted category applications for your account and use your own list options.
Custom Create and change your own property, options, dependencies, applications and archive state. Other accounts' properties are unavailable.

Add an attribute

  1. First search for a similar property in the list to avoid creating a duplicate.
  2. If none exists, click Create, select a category from the existing tree, and set a clear name and type: text, integer, decimal, date or list.
  3. Set whether the field is required and its order for the selected category. After creation, one property can apply to several categories through editing: Category applications → Add category. This adds an application, rather than creating a new catalog category.
  4. If the value belongs in the product name, enable Include in product name and set its order and value template containing {value}.
  5. For a list, add active options. For a dependency, select the parent list property and link each option to its corresponding parent value. The parent must also be available in this category.
  6. Configure input restrictions and ranges if necessary. Change masks and regular expressions only when the required format is clear.
  7. Click Create property, or Save when editing. Check the field in a new product form.

Inheritance and archive

Parent category settings apply to child categories. A closer setting overrides its parent. For a catalog property, use Configure for tenant; Restore inheritance removes your override. Removing a direct application of a custom property may also restore the parent category's rule.

Archived or disabled properties are not offered for new input; saved values remain in the product's history while the property still applies to its category. You cannot simply remove a used option or a parent with active dependencies: the form explains the reason. The type of a property already in use cannot be changed. Archiving does not free a value for creating a duplicate.

Available attributes depend on the product category and catalog settings. Complete the required form fields. If information is missing, clarify it rather than entering zeros.

Configure naming

  1. Open Name template and arrange the parts: category, brand, model, properties. The preview shows the order of parts, rather than a specific product's name.
  2. Select a category branch and Auto or Manual mode. Descendants inherit the rule, and the closest child category rule takes precedence. Auto is used when there is no custom rule.
  3. Save and check a new item. Auto builds its name from filled parts and properties included in the name. In Manual mode, the category supplies an initial name for the employee to complete.

A saved product retains its own naming mode. Changing settings does not imply renaming existing products in bulk. AI does not generate attributes or the name in this scenario.

Configure appraisal percentages

  1. Open Valuation percentages and select a category.
  2. Add up to five distinct nonnegative whole percentages. If needed, choose one as the default and change the order.
  3. Check the displayed effective percentages: the closest category's rule takes precedence, followed by parent categories and the category type rule.
  4. Save and check the appraisal buttons in a new product form.

The percentage is added to the payout: 10,000 and 20% give an appraisal of 12,000. Manual appraisal entry remains available. If no rule exists for the category, its parents or its type, there are no percentage buttons. Removing a local rule may restore inherited percentages. In individual entrepreneur mode, the separate appraisal field is hidden.
